We had a lot of left over cherry flooring, so we decided to mill it to half and three quarter stock and build a fancy hall mirror. 1/8 inch thick mirror,brushed bronze hardware and five or six ( i lost count) coats of helmsman gloss spar urethane. 600 grit between coats.
